Best Blinds for Winter - Thermal Blinds

It’s never too early to start preparing to keep your home warm this winter. As the days are getting shorter, the chill is starting to come in, and soon the warmer days will be fewer and fewer. Often we neglect our windows when it comes to insulation – depending on your windows they can account for 10% - 25% of the heat loss in a home. The good news is covering them with blinds is a cheap and efficient way to help insulate your home and reduce your energy bills

Choosing Thermal Fabrics

Our high-quality coated thermal fabrics are an excellent option for insulating your home. One thing we think is super cool (…or super warm?) about our thermal blind fabric is that the special high-tech coating not only keeps the heat in but it also reflects the solar heat away. This moderates the temperature in your house to keep it cool in the summer (ok, so we guess it is super cool too). A more moderate and consistent temperature means less money spent on heating your home. It can also help you from losing heat needlessly – therefore making sure you don’t have to keep the heat running 24/7 in the colder months.
 

Neat-Fit and Perfect Fit Thermal Blinds

One of the quickest ways to ensure your blinds retain heat is to make sure they fit correctly to your windows. Choosing blinds that fit tightly to your windows reduces gaps and therefore reduces the amount of heat that will escape.
